Job description

How you will make an impact

At Hygraph, we’re on a mission for businesses to unlock their content's full potential with our Headless CMS. Companies like Epic Games, Samsung, Dr.Oetker, and Shure rely on Hygraph to deliver unique content-driven experiences.

As a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager at Hygraph, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how we position, communicate, and advocate for our technical capabilities, empowering technical decision-makers to realize the full potential of Hygraph’s headless CMS.

In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success, to ensure technical accuracy and relevance in all product marketing initiatives. You’ll create compelling narratives, technical enablement materials, and thought leadership content that resonate with technical personas while aligning with broader business goals. Reporting directly to the Head of Product Marketing, you will be instrumental in developing and scaling Hygraph’s ability to articulate our differentiated messaging on technical topics.

What You Will Be Working On

  • Developing and owning the creation of technical product marketing materials, including whitepapers, solution guides, technical blogs, demos, and customer case studies.

  • Translating complex technical concepts, such as headless, composable, GraphQL, and API-first architectures, into accessible content for both (non) technical audiences.

  • Providing the wider Marketing team with content and messaging guidance to fuel company-wide campaigns aimed at technical audiences.

  • Supporting Sales, Customer Success, and Partnership with enablement materials, such as competitive positioning guides, technical FAQ documents, and reference architectures.

  • Partnering with the Product team to build go-to-market strategies for new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.

  • Engaging deeply with customers and partners to understand their technical challenges, pain points, and use cases, using these insights to craft value-driven messaging.

  • Designing and delivering webinars, technical workshops, and demos to showcase Hygraph’s capabilities and drive adoption.

  • Acting as a technical advocate in the market by contributing to industry conversations through speaking engagements, events, and authored content.

  • Collaborating with partners to highlight integration use cases and the value of Hygraph within broader composable architectures.

Job requirements

What We Expect From You

  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in technical product marketing, solution architecture, sales engineering, or a similar field within the software or SaaS industry.

  • Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of GraphQL, API ecosystems, and modern application architectures (e.g., headless, composable, microservices).

  • Content Expertise: Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively through clear, concise, and engaging written and verbal content.

  • Customer Insight: Proven ability to engage with technical audiences such as engineers, product managers, and CTOs to uncover their needs and craft solutions.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated experience working closely with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Partnership teams to align messaging and technical enablement initiatives.

  • Business Acumen: A strategic thinker who can align technical product capabilities with customer business outcomes and broader market trends.

  • Communication Skills: Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is essential; additional languages are a bonus.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Hands-on development experience, particularly with modern web development tools and frameworks.

  • Familiarity with digital transformation projects and their impact on enterprise architectures.

  • Experience working with design systems, content operations, or developer tooling.

  • Previous experience managing or mentoring technical marketing or solution-oriented teams.

You should consider applying even if you don’t meet 100% of the above qualifications. Studies show that you can still be considered for a role if you meet just 50% of the role's requirements.
